Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Cococo Chocolatiers Inc. is both the history and the future of chocolate. We proudly own and preserve the classic Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut^® brand, while our new corporate name, Cococo, is youthful, playful and all about chocolate.

Cococo Chocolatiers creates chocolate magic in our Calgary-based factory and bakery. We sell our products at eight Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut^® corporate stores in Calgary, Alberta, at one in Banff, Alberta, at two in Victoria, British Columbia, and at an affiliate store in Ottawa, Ontario. Cococo Chocolatiers also sells its products to and proudly supports 21 other retail stores owned by independent dealers throughout Canada and the USA, and also through a distribution partner in Japan. In total, there are 33 stand-alone retail stores in our network.

Cococo owns the following trademarks: Cococo, Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut^®, Chocolates by Bernard Callebaut^®, Chocolates by Bernard^®, Chocolaterie Bernard^®, and Chocolaterie Bernard C.^®.

We create only the finest artisanal chocolate products and offer our confections and other products for sale both under the new award-winning Cococo brand and also under the classic Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut^® brand. We take the responsibility of protecting the much-loved Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut^® brand very seriously; we are also very serious (and excited!) about exploring new tastes and textures with our more youthful and experimental Cococo artisan chocolate product line.

All of our products are handcrafted in our Calgary factory and bakery building using all-natural, preservative-free ingredients. We make over 300 products using 80 recipes daily and then ship them all across North America to our customers.

Cococo aims to be sustainable and environmental in its practices—from its purchasing decisions to office recycling to factory management and including membership in the World Cocoa Foundation.

Cococo also strives to be active in the community supporting numerous charities and non-profit groups through donations of chocolate items for fundraising efforts, and related volunteering.

Each of our 33 stores is different. Some are classic European-style chocolate shops, and some offer a more modern café-style atmosphere with an extended menu. Regardless, you can expect to be greeted by friendly staff and delicious chocolate experiences!

Cococo / Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut^® stores

Here you’ll find all the products you’d expect to find in a classic store but with new store designs, an extended product line featuring authentic hot chocolates, coffee-based drinks, delicious chocolate pastries and macarons—maybe even gelato! (Menu varies per location so please call ahead to avoid disappointment).
